Founder and Executive Director - My Daily Armor Ministries
“A hundred years from now, I want people to look back at the work we’re doing today, as first steps towards building the greatest Christian humanitarian relief ministry the world has ever known.”
Founder Scott Goldbach
As the Founder and Executive Director of My Daily Armor Ministries, I’m constantly looking for innovative ways to meet our goals and get the word out about the work we are blessed with in different parts of the world. My Daily Armor Ministries began on January 21st, 2013 with the goal of reaching as many Christians as possible with encouraging words, daily bible verses, and uplifting devotionals (My Daily Armor).
Since that time, and with God’s amazing blessings, we have continued to expand our ministry and now support vulnerable, orphaned, and abandoned children internationally (Amazing Orphans International), and help feed and care for our communities in need in the US (Jonny’s Wagon). We are a Christian organization supplying humanitarian relief efforts across the globe.
For more than 32 years I worked in some form of IT, doing desktop support to leading large-scale corporate projects for some of the largest corporations in America, Ericsson Information Systems, TRW, Ford Motor Company, and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. In 2017 I was blessed with the opportunity to take early retirement, allowing me the freedom to devote the rest of my life to serving others.
I have an amazing wife who is a large part of the work we are doing through our ministry, and two gorgeous daughters, one in her last semester at UofL studying to become an RN, and another who graduated from UofL Nursing School as an RN.
Our family regularly attends Southeast Christian Church here in Louisville, KY where I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve as an usher and men’s accountability group leader. I’ve also had the privilege of serving with the backstage crew of the Southeast Easter Pageant, one of the country’s largest Easter productions which reached nearly a million people over the course of its lifetime.
In my spare time, I look for adventure. I’ve flown small Cessna aircraft and even became a certified (BFI) flight instructor on flying Powered Parachutes. I traveled to the other side of the world, Nepal, in 2007 to trek to Everest Base Camp (see journal) and I’ve had the opportunity to safari on the Serengeti and complete a successful summit up Kilimanjaro in 2012 (see journal). I enjoy flying my drone and love to go fishing with my friends every chance I get. I’m an avid cook and have just recently begun smoking BBQ, with plans to enter the KCBS backyard BBQ competitions in early 2022.
I have been blessed with travel into 11 countries, many of which are directly related to my ministry work through our Amazing Orphans International outreach, including Tanzania, Ghana, Haiti, Uganda, India, Nepal, Panama, Iceland, and Costa Rica.
I do my best to wake up every morning asking God where we are going today!

"Miracle On The Mountain" In the fall of October 2012, my friend Randy and me would attempt to summit the highest freestanding mountain in the world, Kilimanjaro. It is a feat that only 45% of all the climbers who ever attempt it are able to accomplish, and one that...
“God Moves In Uganda” Looking back now, I can’t say that I recall the specific moment that God placed Uganda on my heart, only that He had done so prior to my visit with my friend Denise. As is often the case for me, God moves in my heart long before I see why He has...
“A Christmas Miracle” A Budget Shortfall As we entered the 2019 Christmas season, I was anything but joyous. For months I had seen it coming but December was here now and our ministry was facing a $6000.00 budget shortfall going into 2020. People We Love Were...

“A Gift From God” In the summer of 2010, I was preparing for one of the hardest things I would ever attempt to accomplish, a 100km bike ride in support of “The Ride to Conquer Cancer” for Norton’s Cancer Institute (as a tribute to my mom). Something would happen on...

“It All Started With A Little Red Wagon” How Jonny's Wagon Got Its Name We met Jonny the first time we carried food into our city to feed our homeless. We walked down to Louisville’s Water Front and I still recall the first thing Jonny said to me when we met. “Hi, I’m...
